Slower-posting and maybe rubric resurrections

Thought over this for almost a month, but in order to improve the quality of reviews and my physical-emotional status (i also have a full-time job and didn’t stop working aside from during the first wave of the pandemic, for some prospective), from February on there will be a post and/or review every 2 days instead of daily.

This will hurt my stats and views, obviously, but i’m pretty much burnt out, and some extra time would also be spent in reviving the old platformers rubric i had on my italian blog time ago, Platformation. Really would like to, but i need to write out some rules, quirks and whatnot, consider what to feature on there, etc.

Weekly Break

As previously announced, i will be taking a 1 week break from full lenght reviews, which means EXPRESSO will continue as usual, so expect that format of reviews to appear uninterrupted.

I will also make some announcements about the projects and retrospectives planned for this year on Wise Cafe International, so see ya!

Pre-Christmas/Dino Dicember Hiatus

So yeah, to better prepare for the 12 Days Of Dino Dicember, i’m taking a small break, we’ll resume on Christmas day itself with the first of the aforementioned “12 Days Of Dino Dicember”.

You can feel the padoru in the air, enjoy that in the meantime!

Back To It

The summer break is over, so it’s time to hit the desks… not for me (yet), but the arbitrary time for “school’s in” has officially arrived yet again. No “school slashers” special, and frankly i’m still waiting for many movie releases to trickle down here as well, especially those planned for theatrical releases, like The Green Knight has yet to even receive a release date here (The Duel instead it’s due in a couple of weeks).

Which also explains why you didn’t see any EXPRESSO movie reviews in the last 2 weeks, as the cinemas and release schedule here slowed to a crawl, aside from Fast N Furious 9.

Also, i should point out that the site it’s now monetized (should be, anyway)…. which just does mean that, my schedule hasn’t changed because of it, but i feel it’s worth pointing out in case you wonder if you saw ads before or what. You didn’t.

We’ll be starting tomorrow with a review of the new Candyman, so bye!

Summer Power Nap

So yeah, as announced before, the blog is going on partial holiday, aside from EXPRESSO every other column and extended reviews will go on hiatus, and i will try to take a break myself, mostly focusing on maintenance and updating the goddamn lists.

We’ll be back to the regular roll-out starting the 1st of September.
